Open Sky School organised an Eye Donation Awareness Workshop on 27 August 2026 for students of Classes VII to X in collaboration with doctors from Niramaya Charitable Trust, an NGO dedicated to restoration of vision. It is a national recognized charitable trust, running a government-approved eye bank since 2007 in Gurugram.
The doctors conducted an informative and engaging session, acquainting students with the significance of eye donation and its potential to restore the gift of sight to those in need. They addressed common misconceptions and encouraged students to spread awareness about this noble cause.
The workshop sensitised students to the importance of contributing to society and inspired them to become responsible ambassadors for eye donation awareness. The session concluded with students gaining valuable insights into how a simple act of generosity can bring meaningful change to another person’s life.
